In 2019, my team was tasked with the design of a kids cookbook! Although it was not our usual type of project (it was my first book project), we approached this project similar to how we would a web project.

• Kids are visual learners—we wanted this book to be bright, fun, instructive and very easy for young minds to engage with

• We developed a template for recipes with 3-9 steps, and included a photo for every piece of instruction

• We brought in kids over a dozen different photography sessions to capture them engaging and cooking the food—it was important for kids to see themselves within the pages
